Our
Story
West Metro Pet Care is a trusted, family-owned pet sitting and dog walking company serving Waconia, Victoria, Chaska, Cologne, Minnetrista, Mayer, St. Bonifacius, and surrounding Western Minneapolis suburbs. Co-owners Kris and Alana are a mother-daughter team dedicated to providing professional, reliable in-home pet care, drop-in visits, dog walking, and home checks for local families.
In 2023, West Metro Pet Care was voted #1 Pet-Sitting/Care Business in Carver County, recognizing their commitment to dependable service, excellent communication, and genuine love for animals.
Alana, who manages daily operations, has lifelong experience with pets—pet sitting, vet tech schooling, and volunteering with therapy horses. She cares for her own pets, Dewy the rescue dog and Luna the cat.
Kris has raised dogs her entire life and currently shares her home with Lily the English Bulldog, Bella the Yellow Lab, and Cream Soda the cat. Her background caring for pets of all ages and needs enriches the compassionate, personalized service WMPC is known for.
Together, they provide trusted care for dogs, cats, puppies, senior pets, small animals, exotics, reptiles, birds, and barn animals. Whether you need daily dog walking, vacation pet sitting, home checks, or medication support, they make sure pets stay safe, comfortable, and happy at home.
