☀️ A Day Full of Heart: West Metro Pet Care at the Walk for Animals


There’s something special about a day filled with sunshine, wagging tails, and a shared purpose.


This past weekend, the West Metro Pet Care team proudly participated in the Animal Humane Society’s Walk for Animals at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul. It was a day centered around what we care about most—supporting animals and the people who love them.


🐾 A Community That Shows Up for Pets


From the moment we arrived, the energy was incredible. Pet lovers from across the Twin Cities came together—walking, connecting, and celebrating the bond we all share with our animals.


We were especially grateful to have some of our own families join us, including Alana’s boys, who kept pace like pros and brought so much joy to the day. Seeing kids grow up loving and caring for animals is exactly what this community is all about.

At West Metro Pet Care, our mission goes beyond daily visits and walks. We believe in being part of something bigger—supporting the organizations that provide life-saving care, shelter, and second chances for pets in need.


The Animal Humane Society does incredible work across Minnesota, and events like the Walk for Animals help fund:
